A community scale hybrid renewable energy system for sustainable power supply during load shedding

Load shedding is an operating condition in which the electrical grid temporarily disconnected from load. The objective to minimize gap between available generation capacity and load demand while maintaining equitable supply for all consumers. a prominent problem many developing countries. To address this issue, paper explores potential of hybrid energy system (HES) provide uninterrupted power at distribution feeder despite grid. proposed HES work combines photovoltaic (PV) array, battery storage (BSS) diesel generator (DG). equipped with management scheme (EMS) that ensures continuous supply, improves efficiency, minimizes electricity cost. accomplish these tasks, EMS operates one three modes: mode, renewable source mode mode. Besides, methodology allows injecting surplus PV into grid, thus maximizing utilization improving system’s reliability. results study will assist policymakers determine prospect based sustainable eliminate problems deficit
